A band which some attempt to classify as Black Metal, some call Progressive, and others have simply no clue about whatsoever.  I see this band as a combination of those two essences, along with a strong sense of classical, harmonic, even a touch of bluesy quality.. and utterly unclassifiable.  But however you choose to look at it, Opeth is in itself a triumph of modern-day music.  There is no better way to say it, this band is extreme genius.
